Al Ibtisama Centre for People with Disabilities is a community-based, non-profit special education centre dedicated to serving People of Determination in Sharjah. Owned and managed by the Indian Association Sharjah, the Centre was established in 2019 and is licensed by the Ministry of Family (formerly known as the Ministry of Community Development) and the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD). The Centre provides specialized training and comprehensive support for students with autism and intellectual disabilities aged 4 to 18 years.
Our vision is to nurture independence in individuals with special needs, ensuring they feel valued and supported to reach their full potential, setting the highest national and international standards.
