Speech and Language Therapy is a specialized intervention designed for children who experience difficulties with speech, language, and communication. This therapy enhances a child’s ability to communicate effectively, which in turn positively influences many areas of their daily life.

The Department of Speech Therapy is committed to helping every child develop effective communication skills and reach their full potential. Our goal is to enable each child to communicate using the mode that best suits them—whether through speech, gestures, symbols, or technology-based systems.

We offer a variety of evidence-based therapy approaches tailored to meet each child’s individual needs.

Our services include:
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC):
Use of communication boards, picture exchange systems, and speech-generating devices to support children with limited verbal skills.

Oral Placement Therapy (OPT):
Exercises and activities that strengthen the oral muscles required for speech clarity and feeding.

Articulation and Phonological Therapy:
Helping children produce speech sounds accurately and improve overall speech intelligibility.

Language Therapy:
Developing understanding and use of vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure to enhance both receptive and expressive language skills.

Social Communication (Pragmatic) Therapy:
Building conversational skills, turn-taking, and understanding social cues through play and interactive activities.

Play-Based and Sensory Activities:
Engaging children through fun, interactive sessions that promote natural communication and confidence.

Our therapists create a supportive and nurturing environment, working collaboratively with teachers and families to ensure consistent progress across all settings. Through our holistic approach, we empower each child to express themselves and connect meaningfully with the world around them.

The Psychology Department provides comprehensive intervention and systematic support services for children with diverse developmental, behavioral, emotional, and learning needs. Our focus is on enhancing each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and adaptive skills through individualized and evidence-based programs.

Formal diagnostic evaluations are required from recognized hospitals or external clinics before our assessment and intervention process. Once these reports are received, our licensed psychologist carries out a detailed baseline assessment, followed by a two-week observation period to understand the child’s current functioning and areas of strength.

Based on these findings, we conduct goal setting and an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meeting with parents to design the most effective therapy program. Interventions are then implemented through structured sessions, supported by monthly and quarterly evaluations to monitor progress and adjust goals as needed.

Regular progress meetings with families ensure consistent communication and collaboration. Our aim is to provide a nurturing, data-driven environment that helps every child achieve meaningful developmental progress and an improved quality of life.

Our licensed Occupational Therapist plays a vital role in helping students develop the skills necessary to participate as independently as possible in both school and daily life. Specialized therapy sessions are conducted to enhance functional independence, improve fine and gross motor skills, and support sensory integration-all essential for everyday functioning.

These sessions are carefully prepared to promote independence in activities such as self-care, mobility, and coordination. Through individualized programs, students are guided in developing key skills, including:

• Sensory processing and responses
• Organizational skills
• Attention and concentration
• Behavioral regulation

We track each child's daily progress based on their individual therapy goals, ensuring that all interventions are focused, measurable, and effective.

Our center includes a dedicated Occupational Therapy Unit, equipped for daily training and sensory integration exercises. All interventions are designed according to the specific needs and developmental goals of each student, ensuring a personalized and impactful therapeutic experience.

Our Physiotherapy team is dedicated to helping every child move, play, and explore the world with confidence and independence. We provide personalized sessions designed to promote physical well-being, mobility, and overall functional ability for students who need these services.

Through targeted exercises and interventions, children develop strength, flexibility, and motor skills essential for improved balance, coordination, comfort, and physical positioning. Our sessions also focus on enhancing joint range of motion and muscle strength. Where necessary, the physiotherapist may recommend specialized equipment tailored to each child’s needs.

We work closely with children and their families to enhance physical independence and improve their overall quality of life. Above all, our goal is to create a therapy plan tailored specifically to your child, helping them improve movement, balance, and coordination in ways that make a meaningful difference in their everyday life.

The Nursing Department is dedicated to ensuring the health, safety, and overall well-being of every student at our Centre. Our team includes a MOH-registered nurse working under the supervision of a Medical Doctor, serving as the Centre’s health and safety consultant.

The department is responsible for monitoring the health of all students throughout the day, providing immediate care in case of illness or injury, maintaining accurate health records in compliance with MOH policies, and keeping parents informed about any health concerns or developments.

Beyond clinical care, the Nursing Department actively promotes health education, encourages good hygiene practices, and supports healthy diet and food intake, helping students develop nutritious eating habits, which are especially important for Students of Determination.

FRONT OFFICE
We have a dedicated Front Office Executive (Receptionist) who warmly welcomes all visitors and addresses inquiries with professionalism and care. Our Front Office team manages school admissions, fee collection, daily accounts, billing, and data entry tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. They serve as the first point of contact for parents, students, and guests, providing guidance, support, and timely assistance to create a seamless and positive experience for everyone who interacts with our Centre.

HELPING ASSISTANTS
We have a caring and supportive team of Helping Assistants, specially trained to support Students of Determination across all areas of need. They provide one-to-one assistance to ensure smooth transitions between classrooms, therapy sessions, and transport, with safety as the top priority. Our Helping Assistants offer personalized care wherever a student requires individual support. Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other departments, they help ensure each student’s safety, active participation, and independence, making every experience at our Centre positive and empowering.

TRANSPORTATION TEAM
We have a dedicated Transport Team providing regular services from Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman. Ensuring the safety and punctuality of our students is our highest priority. Our team carefully coordinates pick-ups and drop-offs, making sure every student travels to and from the Centre safely, comfortably, and on time.

MARKETING & DATA ENTRY
We have a committed Marketing and Data Entry Executive who supports corporate relations and manages the Centre’s daily data entry operations. This role ensures accurate record-keeping, effective communication with stakeholders, and smooth coordination of marketing and administrative activities.
